Eswatini National U-17s Team are expected to leave the country today for the regional COSAFA Cup competions to be held in Souh Africa, Port Elizabeth.
The games will be played at Nelson Mandela Bay running between 03 December to 13 December.
Eswatini will play their opening match against Angola on the 04th and Botswana on the 08th on Group C competitions.
The competion have also group A and B. Group A teams are:
- South Africa
- Mozambique
- Zimbabwe
- Lesotho
Group B
Zambia
Namibia
Malawi
Comoros
Top teams in the groups and well placed runners up will advance for the quarters finals of the tournament.
Finalists of the tournament will automatically qualify for CAF U-17 Cup of Nations in 2021, (Xinhuanet.Com).
Worth noting is that the Eswatini’s U-17s were recently disqualified in the COSAFA U-17s competition for fielding over aged players.
